CNC Operator

Shift: Monday – Friday 6:45AM – 4:15PM

Job Summary:

Operator needs to be able to operate CNC machining centers safely and efficiently. The operator will need to have a working understanding of:

G and M codes for 3-axis machines as well as the Cartesian coordinate system X, Y, Z.
Machine and tool offsets
Be able to interpret shop drawings
Minor changes to machine code and offsets at machine
Best practices of driving a tow motor and bridge crane operations
Be able to lift 50 lbs.
Ability to work overtime as needed

Other Duties and Responsibilities:

Understand and obey all safety protocols and standard operating procedures
Proficient in MS Excel and MS Outlook

Desired Skills and Certifications:

Proficiency in Autodesk AutoCad
Understanding of nesting software
CAM package experience
Associates degree or Trade experience
